Cincy Shock Basketball is an organization designed to facilitate teamwork confidence, commitment, integrity & maturity of Cincinnati area youth through athletics. National AAU competitive levels of basketball training and play will be our conduit to reach our athletes & families on a physical, educational, emotional & spiritual level. Shock basketball will engage our youth in competitive environments that will ultimately empower them to strive to reach their full potential as athletes, scholars & human beings. Shock players must also understand the importance of education and giving back to the communities that support their dreams of tomorrow.
Shock players will have an opportunity through committed high level training & play to be highlighted & promoted by the organization to earn both athletic & academic scholarships. In addition we will be sponsoring: Academic Workshops, ACT & SAT Workshops and Celebrity athlete visits.
From the Directors
AAU level competition opened up doors to many of our life’s most treasured memories including lifelong relationships with former teammates through the many interactions we shared as we traveled to arenas, fields and stadiums across the country for competition. We want all our athletes to experience all aspects of life to its fullest. We will use our resources including coaches, trainers, administrators, volunteers & plain old good families to obtain our mission. It is our goal that all our players reach their individual greatness while thriving in a team environment. Shock Basketball is in the business of molding tomorrow’s leaders to take the torch and run with it. Our kids will work hard and have fun doing it. “Know your job & Do your job”. –Directors
The Shock Family is happy to recognize and support our growth with Lakota Shock winter league community players and Director Chad Rupp. The Lakota Shock community program is an excellent choice for your youth’s winter league competition. Lakota Shock winter league players compete in the Cincinnati Area Youth Basketball League: www.caybl.org with additional tournament play throughout the months of November- March and is an excellent way to get your kids ready for spring AAU action. Our Lakota community teams take pride in competing at a high level during winter league play.
